TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Promoter
This Mother's Day Giveaway ("giveaway") is conducted by Newton’s Designer Appliances (“Promoter”), located at 445 Logan Road, Stones Corner, Queensland, Australia.
2. Eligibility
Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or over. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
3. Giveaway Period
The giveaway begins on 22/04/26 and ends at 07/05/2026 9:30am AEST (“Promotional Period”). Entries received outside this period will not be considered.
4. How to Enter – Facebook Post
To enter, participants must:
Step 1: Like the giveaway post.
Step 2: Comment on the post, tagging another facebook user and answering the question posed in the video.
Optional Step 3: Like our page.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
5. Prize
The prize consists of: 1 x Smeg Toaster TSF01RDAU.
Total prize value: AUD $299
The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries within 2 days after the Promotional Period ends.
The winner will be notified via Facebook comment from the facebook page the competition is hosted from. If the winner does not respond within 7 days, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
7. Prize Collection / Postage
The winner may collect the prize in person from 445 Logan Road, Stones Corner 4120. If the winner is unable to collect the prize in store, the Promoter can arrange postage within Australia for a flat fee of AUD $10, which must be paid by the winner prior to dispatch. The Promoter is not responsible for any loss or damage to the prize once it has been dispatched.
8. Platform Disclaimer
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Meta Platforms. Participants release Facebook from any responsibility related to this giveaway.
9. General Conditions
The Promoter reserves the right to:
Verify the validity of entries and entrants
Disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or violates these Terms & Conditions
Cancel, suspend, or modify the giveaway if required due to unforeseen circumstances or to comply with regulatory requirements
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for any technical issues, lost or delayed entries, or any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the giveaway or acceptance or use of the prize.
11. Privacy
Any personal information collected will be used solely for the purpose of administering this giveaway and in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy and applicable Australian privacy laws.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
